Tsunami Relief: Library Creates Exhibition

The Shields Library lobby now has a tsunami exhibition featuring news articles, maps, and books describing the Dec. 26 disaster, the peoples of the affected areas and general tsunami hazards.

During winter quarter, the content will be changed to reflect developments and ongoing interests.

A Web site with links to detailed information about tsunamis, relief
efforts and other data related to the disaster will be available soon
through the General Library home page. The site will include general
information about tsunamis and the U.S. efforts to prepare for tsunamis
along its Pacific Coast.
