Welcome to Dateline, a weekly faculty-staff newspaper for the University of California, Davis

Written and edited by the News Service, our 12,400-reader publication delivers articles and information about UC Davis and systemwide issues and events, research highlights, higher-education trends, and campus people. Dateline is delivered to all departments on campus on Fridays.

Subscription information

If your department is not receiving copies or the right number of copies, email Editor Clifton Parker at .

For off-campus recipients, the Dateline subscription year runs from September to August. The cost is $8 to cover the expense of postage. Renewal notices are sent to subcribers. For further information about subscriptions, contact dateline@ucdavis.edu.

Submission guidelines

Story ideas: We welcome story and picture ideas from the campus community. Contact us with your ideas at dateline@ucdavis.edu.

Deadlines: The news deadline for each issue is 9 a.m. the Friday before publication. For more information, contact Editor Clifton Parker by phone at (530) 752-1932 or by e-mail at .

Seminars and colloquia listings: As space permits, Dateline carries calendars of upcoming campus events and scholarly lectures. The deadline for adding an item to the listings is nine days before publication. You can view or add an event to these listings on our calendar Web site.

Letters: Dateline prints letters that are of general interest to the campus community. Please read our letters policy for more information.
