Kids Can Get Feet Wet Learning About Tahoe

Children ages 8 and older are invited to spend the day at Lake Tahoe on Monday, July 31, learning about the environmental challenges facing the Tahoe Basin.

The seventh annual Children's Environmental Science Day is a free event sponsored by Lake Tahoe School in cooperation with the UC Davis Tahoe Environmental Research Center.

Registered attendees will gather at The Pavilion at Sand Harbor State Park, on the northeastern shore of Lake Tahoe, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. They will be supervised by Tahoe School teachers. A pizza lunch will be provided, plus T-shirts and a boat ride.

Attendance is limited to 100 children. To register, call the Tahoe School at (775) 831-5828. Lake Tahoe School is a secular, private school for pre-K through eighth-grade students in Incline Village, Nev.
